A long time ago, there were villains who tried to take over the world. But several men courageously stood up to defend the Earth and its people. These men, the so called "Legendary Heroes" challenged the villains with their powerful fighting skills in the ring in order to fight fair. Among them were "Kinnikuman", who possessed a hidden power that ignites when his emotions excite. Although these "Legendary Heroes" brought peace on Earth, it wasn't long before the villains started attacking the Earth once again. The "Legendary Heroes", were now old, and did not have enough strength to defend the Earth. Therefore, they held on to the last chance, which was to train the next "Superhero", or the "New Generation Superheroes".Among the candidates of the "New Generation" men, was the son of Kinnikuman, named Mantaro. Mantaro was rather a wimp and disliked to fight or even to be hurt. He detested strongly to attending the training school in becoming a "Superhero", but when he accidentally land on Earth and meets Meat, he is convinced by him that he was destined to become the "Superhero" of the New Generation.
