The main character Ichika Usami is an eighth grader who loves sweets. She hears her mother is coming back from working overseas, and just as she's making a shortcake, she encounters a very hungry Pekorin. The shortcake Ichika made is filled with feelings and overflowing with Kirakiraru, the energy that dwells in sweets. Then a bad fairy who's after Kirakiraru appears, and renders the shortcake pitch-black. In order to protect the shortcake filled with her love, Ichika transforms into the legendary Pâtissiére Pretty Cure, Cure Whip...!

The story begins of the five Pretty Cures who work as Pâtissiéres at the Kirakira Pâtisserie as they protect all the sweets filled with feelings!
